On December 11, 2025, we issued 305 targeted invitations to apply to potential candidates in the Expression of Interest system pool who may qualify for the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker, International Student or In-Demand Skills stream with a job offer in Eastern Ontario and who are currently residing in Canada.
Eastern Ontario includes the following Census Divisions: Frontenac, Hastings, Kawartha Lakes, Lanark, Leeds and Grenville, Lennox and Addington , Northumberland, Ottawa, Peterborough, Prescott and Russell, Prince Edward, Renfrew, and Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.
Please note that as of July 2, 2025, all applications for the approval of an employment position under the Employer Job Offer streams must be submitted via the Employer Portal. Only candidates whose employers have submitted a job offer through the Employer Portal, and have successfully registered an expression of interest, will be considered.
If the OINP has selected your expression of interest, both you and your employer will be notified via email. Your employer may then submit an application for approval of an employment position directly though the Employer Portal, and you may submit your application and make the payment. Please refer to the June 12 program update and the Employer Portal user guide for more details.
