The Alberta Express Entry Stream offers a pathway for eligible candidates to immigrate to Alberta, targeting various high-demand sectors.

To be considered, candidates must have an active Express Entry profile and meet the criteria for at least one federal immigration program. A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 300 is required. These eligibility details are outlined by the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program.

The program includes several dedicated pathways designed to address specific labor needs within the province. These pathways include the Dedicated Health Care Pathway, which supports healthcare professionals. The Accelerated Tech Pathway is available for individuals with skills in the technology sector. Additionally, a Law Enforcement Pathway exists for those in relevant professions.

Beyond these dedicated pathways, the Alberta Express Entry Stream also identifies priority sectors for nomination. The specific criteria for these priority sectors are regularly assessed to align with Alberta's economic and labor market demands. Candidates who fit the requirements of these sectors may receive an Expression of Interest from Alberta.

All nominations issued through the Alberta Express Entry Stream are subject to the allocation limits set by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program. Candidates who receive a nomination are then invited to apply for permanent residency through their Express Entry profile.

Candidates are encouraged to regularly review the official Alberta Advantage Immigration Program website for the most current information regarding eligibility criteria, dedicated pathways, and any updates to priority sectors.
